General Dynamics Corp. –Rockville, M.D., VB6 & MS Access Application Developer. Renovated and remediated a voluminous  and complex application using VB6 as well as an MS Access 2010 front end. Performed as lead developer and renovated, tested and deployed legacy VB6 code being parsed and rendered to an Ms access front-end application. BCR Software, Inc. –S.W. Washington, D.C., SQL Server Developer / Analyst Contractor. Created and installed a SQL Server management reporting database application for one of the company’s most demanding private industry clients. Performed as lead developer and employed MVC3 & Entity framework 4 to rapidly construct and deploy an intranet website for extensive SSIS & SSRS process integration. Universal Consulting Services, Inc. –Fairfax Va, Senior Web Developer. Prepared a formal project cost-estimate of man-hours needed for constructing a military web portal using 3-person .Net 3.5 dev team of which I was the initial, and lead developer hired. Development focused on object oriented design and a well-modeled SQL Server 2008 Db. Initiated data conversion and migration projects. The customized SQL Server Db comparison and ETL software was designed and built using SQL Sever. Applied rapid app dev techniques to construct fully-automated and user friendly apps for mgmnt. stats-tracking, report-scheduling and forecasting. Primarily performed migration of a Java-Based application used to manage client inquiries to a .net 3.5 front-end app with a SQL server 2008 back-end. Microsoft, Inc. –Arlington, Va., Senior Application Developer / Consultant. Performed in-depth analysis, remediation and migration of several .Net 1.1 applications to the newer .Net 3.5 platform. Also handled all migration and unit testing of Excel, MS Word, Text and MS Access apps involved in the FDIC’s newest Windows 7 & Office 2010 platform. Expert-Level and in-depth requirements analysis, all initial design and implementation of a custom-built migration reporting application using MS Access and, Sql Server 2008. Primarily performed in-depth analysis of several critical FEMA database applications in preparation for migration from MS Access to the SQL Server 2008 platform. An enormous amount of prep-work and remediation as well as requirements analysis was required in order to complete this project successfully using MS Access and SQL Server 2008 queries & views. Extensive indexing and DDE queries were used to accomplish these tasks. I was initially responsible for all data modeling using ERWIN 4.1 then the building and population of all target Db tables / schemas for which I developed a customized MS Access table and field comparison Db application linked to SQL via an ODBC connection. Provided training of all tier-1 mgmnt. & document control staff involved in purchasing and subcontract admin throughout Kuwait & Iraq per all US Military Task Orders.
